Did you know that only 6% of married couples with children live in poverty? Or that children who spend more time together with their families show less risk for substance abuse, perform better academically, and learn conflict resolution skills along with many other benefits?
As a Poverty Reduction Center here at GRM, we are geared toward helping our community eradicate homelessness and poverty. And in order to move the poverty needle, we need to strengthen our families by increasing opportunities for family activities, like the “Incredible” Family Movie Day!
This fun opportunity for family bonding will be on July 29th, 2023 at Apex Movie Theater from 1pm to 3:30pm. There is no cost for the movie, but concessions will be available for purchase, so don't forget your snack money! Bring the fam and enjoy one of the best family flicks out there, The Incredibles!
We will also feature a costume contest, so dress to impress like your favorite Incredibles Character!
